PF&G Bullseye League Teams

PF&G has a very active winter and summer bullseye pistol program.  Summer league is active now and run by Ray Maczuba.

The club fields several teams in the Merrimack Valley Pistol League in the winter months.  The league rules are available online: http://www.tewksburyrodandgun.org/MVPL_ByLaws_as_of_April_25_2005.pdf.  New shooters are welcome to join a team with openings.  Usually, there are at least one or two openings on each team.  The league is broken down into 4 divisions (A, B, C and D).  Teams qualify for a division based on the average score of the top 5 shooters to determine the division they compete in.  A being highest and D being the lowest.

Typically, on a league match, the top 5 scores from  each team are used to compute the team total score.

If you want to join a team... contact Bill Dutton or Ray Maczuba.

The Ranges

Indoor Range: The indoor range is a 50 foot range.  There are 8 positions.  You must be qualified to use this range.  See any range officer to schedule qualifications.  Users of this range are required to supply their own targets.  This range is located at the old clubhouse.  After using this range it is customary to sweep and dispose of used brass.

Outdoor Turning Target Range: The turning target range is 50 yards and 25 yards.  There are 48 covered firing points.  This range is one of the finest in the region.  Targets at the 25 yard line turn electronically and can be done using manual or programmed intervention.  Loaded firearms are not allowed beyond the firing line without prior approval from the board of directors.  Target frames and cardboard are available at the range but shooters must use their own targets. This range is located to the left of the main clubhouse next to the silhouette range.  You must be qualified to use this range.  See any range officer to schedule qualifications. After using this range it is customary to sweep and dispose of used brass.
